Plastisol sheets
Applied in a 200 Micron thick coating. External Plastisol exhibits an embossed leather grain finish. This coating is very tough and has great formability and flexibility too and with a galvanised or aluzinc coated steel substrate it gives a high degree of protection against corrosion. This product is used externally worldwide. It is available in a range of colours.
Polyester sheets
Applied in a 25 Micron thick coating. External Polyester exhibits a smooth finish. This coating has great formability and flexibility and with a galvanised or aluzinc coated steel substrate it gives a high degree of protection against corrosion. This two coat product is used externally for applications worldwide. It is available in a choice of colours.
Rollaclad can supply a comprehensive range of proprietary fixings, which are available for delivery with profiled sheeting and flashings. These include - self drill type screws, self tapping screws, bulb tite rivets. For advice contact our sales department.
Cut edge protection
The exposed steel at the edge is protected by the galvanised layer on the substrate as a result of electrolytic action and some 'drag over' effect. It has been demonstrated that the protection afforded to an exposed area will depend, for any given thickness of zinc, on the width of the unprotected area, the thinner the cut edge, the greater the degree of protection. Processes such as shearing or punching drag the zinc over the cut edge and thus reduce the actual unprotected area.*

Clear sheets
Rollaclad can supply clear sheets to match our profiles, these are available in two grades - single skin or factory-assembled double skin units. The material used in manufacturing these sheets is Fibreglass-Reinforced Polyester Resin incorporating UV light stabilisers.
