Product Description
The Thermaclad RC32/1000mm panel uses our RC32/1000mm profile outer sheet, a choice of insulation cores and a white steel liner sheet. The insulation core is moulded to fit the steel inner and outer skins exactly.
These insulated sheets are available with a choice of core materials to allow for different U value and fire rating requirements. The weatherside of the sheet is manufactured with 0.5mm, 275gms⁄m² galvanised steel substrate. On top of this is a 200 micron thick plastisol leathergrain PVC coating for maximum protection which is available in a range of colours.
Alternatively a 25 micron thick polyester smooth coating is as also available in a range of colours. The internal steel liner gives a clean flat appearance and is manufactured with 0.4mm 275gms⁄m² galvanised steel substrate coated with a 15 micron white, wipe-clean finish.
The sheets are available in lengths of up to 7 metres as standard. Cut backs are available as required to facilitate longer runs. Contact our Technical Department for advice.
Installation
Insulated sheets are laid in exactly the same way as single skin sheets - the side laps are overlapped onto the adjoining sheet as illustrated in the above diagram. It is recommended that a 9mm x 3mm sealant strip be used along the side lap edge which should be stitched at 300mm intervals.
Insulated sheets - Flat
Our insulated flat sheets are available in a choice of thicknesses and widths and are suitable for external and internal lining as well as for the partitioning of buildings.
The sheets are available with a choice of core materials to allow for different U value and fire rating requirements.
They are easily fitted and a choice of edge details is available to provide a simple connection to the adjacent sheet.
Our insulated sheets are manufactured to fit customers' individual projects.
